SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA will be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it really is alarmed with regard to the superior variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The provider issue produced for intervention encounters a higher inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for your Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to help the servicing of all customers and enhance here use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
